Default Anyone have their own Paint Thickness Gauge? Need buying advice.

I am considering buying a paint thickness gauge for infrequent use when looking at used cars, polishing, etc. I see so many brands, specs and price ranges that I am totally overwhelmed. I can’t afford a several hundred (or thousand) dollar gauge, but might go to a $100-150. Are gauges in that price range ok? Or junk? Any thoughts or suggestions?

I had some more expensive ones, I bought 2 Defelsko's but ended up returning them. If you are working in a body shop or if this is your living and you are needing very accurate measurements, then the Defelsko's or Elcometers are better. But if you are just trying to see variance from panel to panel, I would say that you would have a hard time topping what I linked above.
