I use this even on non-black cars. Lambo dealer uses. Great stuff.

I've used a Griots random orbital polisher and Groits polishes. It will either eliminate or greatly minimize any scratch, assuming it's not too deep.

^^^^^UGH, contains silicone, deadly if you ever have to repaint. I’d stick to Groits.

I use DWG Dri Wash and Ardex products.
My new favorite rubber care/ even leather is Wurth Silicone Free Rubber care. All the Porsche dealers & VW using.. Great Stuff
I now see from your reply that there are concerns about repainting & adherence . I need to inquire more about it.

Light scratches can be polished out using a standard two step method. First step is usually a cutting pad with medium grade polish like Meguiars 105. The second step requires a finishing pad and a finishing polish like Meguiars 205 or Menzerna 800. Personally I like the Menzerna better, the reflection is very sharp and the product is very easy to use.

If hairline is just swirls then you can skip the first step and go straight to the second step or use Meguiars 205 and if you want really sharp reflection you can finish with the Menzerna.

+1.

Right on the money. Finish off with a wax/sealant. Keep in mind if you do all of this then you need to adhere to proper washing techniques to maintain that finish
