Hey all, in a bit of a bind. Disconnected battery to change steering wheel yesterday and closed the hood. Having spent most time in air cooled cars the electronic hood release never even enter my mind.

Now I can't jump through the fuse box and need to take off front wheel to get to emergency hood release. Of course the center lock socket is in the trunk. If anyone in Chicago area can let me borrow one, will return it ASAP.

You'll never do that again! I was inn the same boat at the same time. Battery died and had to borrow a jump box from the neighbor to pop the frunk
