Default Winter tires

85 degrees in the twin cities, wake surfing and pontooning yesterday, but winter will come

if I don’t want a strictly blizzak winter dedicated style tire, what are some other good options? Has anyone done an all terrain for winter with success?

I've been wondering about the AT like K03s. Too new for anyone to have experience but they look interesting.

those big tread blocks could mean noisier rides and handling may not be ideal

You need a performance winter tire in OEM staggered sizes if you want enjoyment/fun when the roads are dry while maintaining the same handling characteristics albeit at a lower level. Michelin Alpin in 20 inch OEM staggered sizes has worked well through two winters but there are other good ones.
