Default 9Y0 Drains

Hi all, does anyone have a diagram of all drains on a 9Y0.1? Specifically curious about the rear sunroof drain. I was only able to find one on passenger side between back of wheel arch and rear bumper (no hose in equivalent position on drivers side). What’s the best way to keep the rear sunroof drain clean? Thanks in advance

When I was at the dealership for some warranty work the service manager proposed I agree to let them do a drain cleaning for $600......

So you have that option I guess

There are four sliding roof drains, one in each corner of the trough surrounding the sliding roof panel. Exit points are near the tires.

Don’t park under trees

Park in a garage

Test for water flow through the drains periodically by pouring a cup of water into each corner of the sliding roof trough and observing water exit near the corresponding tire

If necessary use appropriately sized string trimmer (weed whacker) line to push into the drain to clear it.

Thanks Chassis. How do you access the two rear drains? Does pano roof have to be removed?

This is from an Audi Q7/Q8. Since it is the same chassis design, I assume that in Cayenne is the same.
You can clean the rear drain from the bottom after removing wheel housing liner.

Open the pano roof all the way

remove your shoes

Enter the vehicle and assume a standing position through the open pano roof with one foot on each front seat.

Look in the forward two corners and identify the two ~4mm drain holes.

Turn your body through 180 degrees, look in the rearward two corners and identify the two ~4mm drain holes.
