If you like the car...I'd take the buy back and new car and see if you can get additional items thrown in like maintenence plus and any items already done to the car [or wanted] ceramic coat or PPF, or tint, etc added back in. They should account for sales taxes and doc fees/registration etc. If you want something else...go with the settlement and take the cash and run!

Take the buyout and start over. Even after they fix the car, will you truly have confidence in the car? If it's me, I'd rather spend more, get the things I didn't have on the prior car, and have one that is newer and hassle free.
