First, what guy doesn't like to brag that they have the biggest (in this case brakes)? My buddies with Mercs or Bimmers can't compete!
Second, they are lighter than a traditional iron rotor. Less unsprung mass means a smoother ride, especially over rough pavement.
Third, they will last longer than I will own the vehicle. I drive a lot on highways, so the lifespan is even longer.
Brake dust is much lower, not completely eliminated.
