Hello everyone,

I’ve just noticed my 19 Cayenne 3.0T has a water leaking issue on the back of my vehicle. The silver box has a hole on one side, but no holes at all on the other side, and the hole keeps dripping even after engine is off. Can anyone help to advise do I need to go to the dealer to repair. Thank you in advance.

Everything is fine. The water coming out of the car is condensed exhaust gases. When the car cools down after driving, the vapors condense and become water. This especially happens in winter or when the car is driven for short distances.
The muffler is designed in such a way that a large amount of water can accumulate in it. To drain this water, a hole with a diameter of approx. 1 mm is drilled at the factory in the lowest place of the muffler.
