2025+ GTS orders

The formal process by which your Porsche CBA enters an allocation request ("Demand Order") for a specific Porsche vehicle in the PCNA computer system, which may or may not result in an actual allocation awarded to that dealer. Or words to that effect.
This becomes a superfluous step if a dealer already has an available allocation for a vehicle you desire. You will live and die by the codes below once your allocation has been submitted. I refer to V170 as the "Bummer Code"...something you desire has been rejected by PCNA, and you're in a STOP ORDER status until that's been corrected. The information below is something I'd encourage you to save if you haven't been through the Porsche allocation process. It's a handy reference.

Our 25 GTS is due in sept- oct We ordered the lightweight package which includes the carbon fiber roof and the hounds tooth interior is part of that package. Our first cayenne 21 also had the lightweight package with houndstooth. Would recommend that interior in a heartbeat also the carbon fiber is really cool

Red Calipers
Hi all. I was given a last minute allocation for ‘25 build. I had wanted the standard red calipers but was told that black is now standard and red is unavailable unless I get them painted after delivery. Is this correct?
This is my build: PSC7U2G5.
Thanks!

Your build doesn't have the Gloss Black option checked @ $910 so as speculated it must be a substitution because of a shortage of Red. Red and Black cost to Porsche can't be different so it might be that Porsche underestimated the proportional mix of the two colors. On the positive side you are getting a free upgrade to Black...just kidding Black doesn't do it on a GTS, IMO..

The problem is they are charging me for the gloss black calipers. I asked for them to look into it as I had wanted red. Might be able to do regular black instead of gloss black. Any thoughts on this?

Burning Brakes
They can't make you accept and pay for an option that you don't want. Not to be a difficult person but if they run out of red calipers, that's their problem. It smells a little fishy, if you ask me.

Hi all, I have been to the forum many times reading everyone’s posts and lurking in the technical section for multiple hours. I can now officially call myself part of the community here after placing an order for my first PORSCHE. I have gone for the Cayenne GTS coupe. Order was placed in May while my build was frozen last weekend and delivery should be around mid November.

Your other option might be to leave the build with Red and delay the build dates. Most component restraints for sold orders offer a delay in the build as an option. From your post this was an allocation that you were able to take over so it might be different.

that would've worked out perfectly for me, I selected to have black calipers. I didn't want the superman color scheme. https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PS511GI7
Across most car brands Red calipers are universally for a Sporty model or upgraded model of that vehicle. It's the same reason that the high end PCCB's are Yellow. The "Cachet" that you spent over $9k on fancy brakes, not because anyone thinks yellow looks better.
