Taking the calm down to another level and out of context. I also gave him information on the time line. I'm not here for fake beef. So let it go

I paid MSRP but they were very generous on the trade (beat anyone else including a PP offer even before accounting for the sale tax credit)

So had my car for a little over a month.

Received 2 errors in that span.

1) Differential Lock Failure
2) Reduced Engine Power

Brought it back to the dealer.

They said they need to replace a part that only comes from Germany.

Will take 4 weeks.

Willing to give me a loaner but I’m so pissed about this. Waited a long 7 months to get the damn car and now it’s going back.

On top that, what does that mean for my lease payment? If I don’t have a working car, surely I shouldn’t be responsible for paying for a full month without it?

I had a similar situation years ago with my 2010 panamera, and I did not pay for a car that I was not driving. It happens sometimes with new cars. Dealership took care of that payment situation for me. It's just good business.

Got mine today and I love it. It's got all the performance options and really not much else except a hitch and a fire extinguisher. I really like it. The Chromite Black paint has a bronze hue to it. I just used it this afternoon to pull a trailer with one of my 911's on it and it was a fantastic tow vehicle. I ordered the Pirelli Corsa's, but had to swap them out for winter wheels asap after 10 miles and cold temperatures coming tomorrow.

I went to the dealership to take delivery of mine and the rear doors soft close weren't working so they scheduled a drop off with a loaner for me. They couldn't figure out the issue so they just went ahead and replaced both rear door motors. Car stayed with them for a week.
Picked the car up and the issue still occurs, dropped it back off again and the car has been at the service department for 10 days now with no update from the dealership.

how much are you guys getting off MSRP
slow day at work because of snow and I was researching dealers inventory and there are a lot of GTS on lots sitting
I had a 2023 GTS which I loved
I am in the process of looking and was debating between RSQ8 or another Cayenne GTS
on SRQ8 you can get 20 k off relatively easily which will help with the depreciation in a year or 2 as I don't keep these things long
Since Porsche dealers continue to be on Covid high, I did not want to call and get the BS answer we don't discount GTS etc
I think 10 % off should be doable now or soon !

I got around 4.5% off custom build Cayenne S or 4k off a GTS back in early July when I put in the order. I went with the Cayenne S and just took delivery mid December. The dealers I had called back in July asking for 5% off custom S are still hitting me up to see if I'm still interested in ordering at 5% off. The discounts are there, you just gotta ask for me and it helps to go in person. This probably doesn't apply to the West Coast dealers since they dont believe people are willing to travel out of state to buy or some act like this is one of a kind completely hand built SUV that doesn't share parts with a VW Atlas.

My wife and I are in a similar situation. Discount or not, this is the golden ticker for us. However, I do think you're spot on that 2025 will show discounts on the GTS. 10% is reasonable on a truck that was previously spoken for but a bespoke spec build...we would like to see that for sure in upcoming months. We will be trading in a Base '21 Macan Nightblue with Red/black interior and chrono/deviated stitch with ~19k that I bought her last Christmas CPO Paul Miller. Good Luck on your hunt and Happy New Year

Locally in the Midwest, I was offered a modest 3-4% discount on 2025 GTS order with one catch - I have to get at least $25K in options. I went to a different dealership who offered no discounts but order whatever options I wanted (which for me was minimal).

I think you can expect at least 10% discounts. I had 5% off a custom order Cayenne GTS and put in a refundable deposit back in July from a dealer in PA (near Philly). Long story short, ended up cancelling the order and trading in for a new 2025 Macan GTS that was on the lot at another dealer and got a discount just shy of 10% plus very fair trade value. The Cayenne GTS I ordered is now sitting on the lot at the PA dealer (along with half a dozen or so others) and they keep calling, text, and emailing me with increasing discounts offers, despite me telling them I am not interested.
