no. you care about the factory valves if you want the exhaust to respond to the selected drive modes and display the exhaust icon etc in the cluster. some like the separate control because you can switch the exhaust valves separately with dedicated button whereas with the factory controlled valves you have to use the factory methods of control which probably involve multiple menu taps, or tie the valve setting to the selected drive mode’s pre set valve setting.

I’m looking for something that can be integrated via the PCM.

then my understanding is you need to stick with the porsche sport exhaust, a custom made solution w factory valves or Akrapovič.

Don’t think there is an option yet for all of the 2024 Cayenne models tho? Would be one who is also interested for one for my 2024 E hybrid Coupe! Akrapovic especially.

correct. i have been checking every 3 or 4 weeks for a porsche sport exhaust or Akrapovic, nothing yet. I am actually thinking of having something custom made, i haven’t checked on getting just the valves yet.

In my opinion, the sports exhaust system in the MY2024 Coupe with a V6 engine is the same as in the pre-facelift cars. Nothing has changed in the hardware. Same engine, same chassis, same rear bumper. The dimensions should be exactly the same.
The only problem may be with the integration of the exhaust flaps with the MY2024 software. But you can install mufflers and pipes and wait to control the flaps.

It seems like akrapovič or an experienced porsche installer would know. Porsche Sport Exhaust is non refundable, so if I bought it, and something wasn't correct, or able to be customized to fit/work, I would have to sell it 2nd hand. However, I am inclined to believe what you are saying is correct, so it is probably worth following up on. I'll report back.

Yes Akrapovic makes good equipment and mine on my 992 flawlessly integrated into my car and valves were controlled via PCM AND PSE which came equipped with the car. So I did order my 2024 Cayenne S e hybrid the same way w/PSE. If an pre-facelift Akrapovic muffler set up can retrofit onto the 2024 then that would be excellent. Let us know what you you find out.

@retom and others...I reached out to akrapovic, and received two replies - it appears they direct inquiries to the distributor in the respective countries, probably for language reasons. In the first reply, they say the 536 exhaust won't work on a 2024 car. I followed up to ask if it was a physical fit issue or just that the valves wouldn't work, we'll see what they say. As far as their 536.2 solution which just recently had a place holder page appear on their site, a solution is coming in October 2024.

Thomas, you can ask these guys. Seems that they have solutions for new Cayenne. They produce good quality exhaust systems and they have couple of distributors in USA.

Only options I believe right now are GTHAUS and FI. Surprised IPE and Armytrix haven't followed.

Question I have is whether anyone will add an option for the 2024 Cayenne hybrid v6 models. Anyone heard any info? Glad I got the PSE but still would like a bit more aggressive sound for when I am on it in ICE mode! . Especially given my 992 has an Akrapovic which I sourced for sound!
