I'm pretty happy with this one for my Uniden R8. Probably not as fancy, but does the job for a fraction of the price.I mount it like this but fully compressed in and it tucks under the mirror. I also just leave the part thats connected to the mirror and remove the bottom part when not using the radar.

I installed this same product today on my Jaguar. It looks great and the build quality is excellent. The adjustments are really nice — I was able to set it up about 2 inches below the rear view mirror and tilt it towards the driver seat, which was cool. Highly recommended. I'm using it with my Escort Passport Max (an older model - I bought that version).

Anybody have trouble with trying to connect to the cam with your iPhone but the Porsche car play keeps overriding it?

You need to disable BT on your iohone when connecting to FITCAMX. This will kill Auto CarPlay connect, what you are experiencing.

I turned off the car play in my phone and it allowed me to connect it. My Jeep, I didn’t have to do this. That’s why I was getting stuck

Was considering the FitCamX for my incoming TGT until I watched Vortex's review. Apparently there are major issues with this dashcam.

well that is annoying to learn. whenever i am buying made in china i am just not as surprised to find this stuff out. that said, as far as the camera taking long to wake up, that isn’t my exp. i verify check what settings i have but i believe mine is set to sensitive if i recall. my neighbor bought some fake dog poop on my hood and he approached the car from the side to avoid the dashcam. it caught him. as far as the video quality, to the eye it is sufficient. if i were buying something else it would be hard to beat the form factor. the other one i considered was the porsche one, because it looks decent.

Take this video with grain of salt. This is my 2nd one in 2 diff cars. 0 issues. Video quality is very good. It’s actually nicer than my work vehicle’s dash cam.

You can get the FITCAMX on sale now. I got mine for like $110 off aliexpress. They have coupons and sale now.

yeah it is working fine for me. no compelling reason to rip it out. if i were in the market for a gee one i may consider other options. but not having crap all over is a plus. the fitcamx is just so tidy.

It works great for me too. Although there were some minor issues at first. The updates recommended by FitCamX didn't help, and the seller sent me a completely new dashcam set including polarising filter.
They did it very quickly and, importantly, didn't expect me to return the faulty dashcam, so I didn't have to remove and reinstall it twice. When the new one arrived, I replaced the old one with it.
That's why I wholeheartedly recommend FitCamX. Now everything works flawlessly, the quality is very good and their customer service is very responsive.

I have an Axon dash cam for work and the quality of my FitcamX is way better. That tells you alittle something. For $110, you can't beat that price.

I got it last week but looks like the price went back up. Try using some of their coupons.
Be careful be they got FITCAMX replicas on Aliexpress for super super cheap. They all come from China but I believe they got different quality controls and variations.

Amazon has Black Friday sales on them and FITCAMX website has sales sometimes.

Here is the link:
