if 5k OK, why not 6k?I stayed at no more than 3.5k for 1st 4k miles, and after 1st oil and filter change at 5k miles, then took it up to 5k. Car has sport chrono, and I new it has great umph in just sport mode in the 1st 5k miles
Our 997 at 71k miles sees no more than 3k rpm until oil at 200 deg, been thar way for 20k miles and 8 years

Best long term outcomes when you at least follow OCI intervals, oil type and break in limits

Your Cayenne will work fine in the cold - just keep the RPMs low-ish while it warms up. I'm with Felix in that additives are a scam.
Hi John

Thanks for the input, appreciate it greatly. Following all that has been said I have shelved my plans for adding any additive to my oil. Happy to be part of such a nice and helpful community.

I am a 2024 Porsche Cayenne Coupe owner and have issue with my backup lights when reversing on dark driveway or road. Tge difference between my Cayenne and a porsche Macan loaner are amazingly different. I have been told by my dealer and Porsche customer service it "working as designed", though the national person agreed the difference is notable. Below are pictures showing the difference. Does antone else have this issue?
