PCA tech note for monthly magazine notes you can stream video's on the passenger display - hmmm - wonder if this upgrade will come "back" to the Taycan - and I'm thinking the Cayenne interior is also the new Macan EV interior - hmmmm…interesting.

This screen will stream videos but only when the vehicle is stopped. There’s also an optional 10.9-inch screen as well that sits directly in front of the passenger. It will allow videos to be streamed while the vehicle is in motion as well as give the passenger control over navigation and climate control. There’s also a special coating that prevents the driver from being distracted from what’s on the screen.

I have to say, I love this site/ thread There's so much info on here. I saw an article on how the 2024 Cayenne exterior got "leaked" in one of those videos that we saw days ago. Now we're seeing photos of the new 24's being loaded up before anyone else. That to me is at least super cool...

On a German forum (pff.de), one member said that he got his VIN number today and should be able to collect his new cayenne facelift next week according to his Porsche Center… so it seems we we are very close to the official release. While I thought the car will be revealed at the Shanghai auto show on April 18th…

Why did they remove the LED indicator from the mode selector? It doesn’t make any sense…
The old drive mode selector feels and looks way better and is much more convenient to use.

Yup. They did the same thing in other cars, too (f'rinstance, starting with the '22 Macan). I don't get it either. So much less functional / sensible.

I know, I just used it in Panamera, absolutely hated it…
Sometimes I really wonder if they ever try and test the new things before releasing them. I cannot imagine anyone saying: “Yes, this is good, better than the old one”.
