Default Warning Light

Anyone know what this warning light represents? I think it's PSM but can't find an image anywhere that looks like this. Appreciate the help.

Brake Warning could be one of three things:
  1. Brake fluid level low.
  2. Brake booster failure.
  3. Brake force distribution error.
In all cases the manual states, “Do not continue driving.”

From pages 293-294 of the 2021 Cayenne owner’s manual:

The yellow symbol indicates that the Auto Start-Stop is not available. This is a normal indication while the engine and transmission are not at operating temperature.

You will also see this symbol when:
  • "Maximum cooling" function is activated
  • Activated "Defrost windshield" function
  • At high altitudes
  • While adjusting the chassis level
  • Trailer detected (bicycle carrier connector or trailer connector plugged in).
  • Low battery state-of-charge
  • Very low or high outside air temperature or battery temperature
  • When stopped on a hill
Read all about it on pages 70-71 of the 2021 Cayenne owner’s manual.
You can download a PDF of the manual here:
