Angry Might be tricked by my dealer, what can I do?

I built a MY2022 Cayenne GTS Coupe back in Jan 2022 and paid for the premium package plus(which by the time I configured my car, includes PDLS+), and got my delivery in late March(which I considered fast).
However, when the dealer sent me the configuration sheet to confirm, I trusted them and didn't check for each item in the premium package plus and signed my name.
Now I found out that my car actually didn't equip with PDLS+ even though I paid for it(with the $6520 Premium Package Plus). I never know that items included in the same package for the same model year could be different before this!

I learned that there was a supply chain issue with PDLS+ here(https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...n-anymore.html) hence this might be how they got my car produced faster than expected?

Is there any way I can recoup my loss here other than filing a lawsuit?

No, there isn't, and when I try to open my original configurator with build code, it won't even open(I guess that is because it is missing the PDLS+) and I even paid a hefty dealer markup(the amount that I am ashamed to admit) for this...

contact Porsche NA, they might issue coupon just like Macans that were delivered without electronic steering column.

As @daveo4porsche said, have you actually reached out to the dealer?

I would try that first and gauge their response, before contacting Porsche NA.

Was 8IU on your copy of the build sheet or not? The package should be broken down into a bunch of $0 elements, including the including headlights...

That was not the case, I only realized that after I meet up with one of my friends who bought the same model with the same package like 1 month later.

Thanks for the advice, will try to contact them and see what they can do, it is a huge disappointment for me because I paid dearly for the custom build and wanted it to be perfect, and this is actually a quite obvious visual difference(somehow I was stupid enough to not seeing it earlier.)

Yeah, I don't understand how this is such a massive problem if it took you 6 months to notice the possible difference. Take some time to simmer down and talk to the dealer and avoid hyperbole, it will make you look nuts.

I noticed that my headlights were not able to automatically switch from low beam to high beam a while back but I assume that was because it didn't offered with PDLS+(because I believe I had PDLS+), until I compared my headlights with my friend's car.
I am just surprised that it could remove such a valuable option in the package ($1200 from $6520) without even giving notice to its customers.

How much was your mark up? You can say, this is like a AA group haha. I would be pissed though, you deserve those headlights.

Your dealer should have let you know about the change. They 100% knew about it. Mine did when it dropped off my build.

But contact them. You should be getting a refund for the difference in that option. It happens. I wouldn't overreact but at this point you seem unsure about what you ordered and paid...did you check to see if they adjusted the price accordingly and you didn't notice?

I just called my dealer, the service department was nice and also shocked by the omission of that option.
They told me that they are contacting Porsche NA and see what they can get me in 2 weeks.

Good to hear.

Hope it was just an innocent error.

Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

Will do, I do feel that I might not be alone, as when I check the online inventory for MY 2022 Cayennes with Premium package plus, there are cars with PDLS+ and there are cars with out in the included package list, I have no idea how that could happen but it seems to not be an isolated case.
