Several threads here and on the internet. Porsche usually gives a small performance boost on their facelifts and would love to see the GTS tuned a little for more hp.

Congrats! I received my 22 GTS and absolutely love it. The exhaust is fantastic, crazy loud for a family vehicle! As I mentioned on prior posts, my wife hijacked my build and made it a bit odd. She removed the alcantara seats in favor of full leather. I hate this, I really like Alcantara as it’s a unique feature of GTS lineup, and it seems to wear better with time…none of the annoying leather creases on the seats. Alcantara on all my GT Cars has worn so well over the years. So in my opinion GTS should be ordered with alcantara seats/trim. The other options are personal preference as it comes pretty loaded to begin with.

If you look at Porsche's history, the GTS is usually the last model to arrive. If there is a 2023 facelift, understand it's possible that the GTS will disappear for a year or two.

The air suspension with PASM is amazing. Slam it down low and it’s sporty and firm or raise the Cayenne up and relax the PASM and the ride is comfortable and smooth.

Chalk is a cool exterior color but beware, based on lighting conditions it can vary from white to an off color beige.

Love the Chalk interior but you must be type A to keep it clean. Also subject to blue Jean transfer.

Unfortunately cannot equip ventilated seats with suede os no go for me living in a warm climate.

Get the roof rails and the tow package. The former can't (easily) be added after the fact while the latter can but is stupid expensive. For those that'll never tow a vehicle, the hitch can also be used for a bike rack, a step to help washing and also a travel box. No brainer IMO.

if I get the tow hitch it negates the rear bumper sport design bumper. Says so in the configuration. Lame

I may do the roof rails tho.

I am thinking Dolomite Silver, but not sure because I haven't seen it in person and I don't want a very bluish silver. Seems like Dolomite is less blue than Rhodium, which I do not really like very much, but Dolomite may still be more blue than GT silver, which I love. I am just wonder whether Dolomite would look ok with red brake calipers. If not, I could order the black calipers, but a silver car with red calipers can look very nice if the silver doesn't have too much blue in it.

Separately, does anyone know whether there is a way to get the surface coated steel brakes on a GTS? It doesn't seem to be an option on the configurator.

the dolomite has a very blue undertone. Not a true sliver. Just an FYI!

i know it is unique to the GTS. I hate that the seats can’t be ventilated and seeing the fan seat button and it not working would drive me insane. But I bet they are nice in the winter. Since they won’t be as cold as leather.

my Taycan is Dolomite, awesome color. In 1.5 years and 21k miles I have never looked at it and seen blue. It’s a light silver that always looks great, easy to keep clean

Dolomite is a brilliant silver with very subtle hint of blue under certain lighting- significantly less blue than Rhodium. GT Silver has no blue- more of a grayish silver. I prefer the black calipers on any silver variant, and have ordered it for an incoming Chalk GTS. Unfortunately the surface coated steel brakes are not available for the GTS for unclear reasons-

With the 958 the GTS was available day one of the face lift (958.2). My 2016 has a build date of May 2015. New models the GTS tends to be later but facelifts, or .2 models, it likely comes out sooner. That’s the challenge with waiting, won’t know until it’s released.
