Not exactly the same, cayenne is much simpler

So here's the deal, or what I have found. There is usually a hidden company in the back which develops these gadgets and tests them on the market. They have the budget and engineering staff to do this but they don't usually market direct to consumers (they are b2b). Less hassle I guess.
They then sell the solutions to 3rd parties with relaxed licensing in place so that the 3rd party can claim they 'manufactured' the item. In reality, these are just resellers with no technical ability to manufacture or test the hardware.

So what you do is you take the gadget and the serial number or some unique id on the gadget and google it. Purchase from the cheapest dealer you can find because it IS THE SAME PRODUCT!
