when it's not throwing CEL's it's a great car - but my experience with my '21 is I love it when it's not throwing cell's but I've never ever in my life owned a more fickle vehicle - it's constantly throwing CEL's and I'm stuck between lemoning it and waiting for a software update that Porsche tells me is coming but won't provide a schedule for when the software will fix the problems.

it's a great car with some issues - but there is nothing better so you have a choice - buy the car and live with the known issues and hope Porsche fixes them - or look for something else but there is nothing else that's better IMHO…

Porsche has already made substantial accommodations to me given my circumstances and experience and admits there are fleet wide issues - and I still have the option to lemon it under California Lemon law, but surveying both feature set and availability a replacement is a difficult option…

so yeah it's good, really really good, until it's not - then the CEL light clears and it's good again…

here is a sample of the sorts of CEL's I routinely experience - none of which actually matter…when diagnosed - U0122 is the biggest offender and is what Porsche Service claims is what will be fixed in a future unknown update…

other's are in the same boat and similarly torn as to what to actually do - cause they love the car but hate the pointless CEL's.

I am looking to get a 2022 Cayenne E-Hybird soon is there problems with this type of car (E-Hybrid). I read about the Check Engine Light (CEL) issues someone was having rather than systemic. In the past I had problems with my 2017 Cayenne transfer case issues. Luckily I was under warranty.

there are currently harmless systemic Check Engine Light (CEL) issues with '21 eHybrids (turbo and non-turbo) - we have no data on '22's cause they aren't out yet in quantity - but I was told by my service manager there is no reason to expect '22's not to have the same problem - the vehicle pop's CEL's related to charging and dynamics module - there is no reason to expect the '22's not to have the same CEL problem - we are waiting for a software update from Porsche - confirmed to exist but without schedule for deployment - I would expect all '21/'22 eHybrids to exhibit this problem until Porsche has a software update for fleet-wide deployment. more details can be found in this thread…
