Default 2020 turbo discount???

Ready to buy. Live in Dallas but want good deal and willing to buy in Houston, Austin. What is best approach to get best deal possible without wasting time. Was hoping to send a bunch of emails out but dealers don’t seem to publish.

Hey Leon, given that you're in that area, John Wright at Porsche North Houston is the guy you should reach out to. I found his information on this forum (from another referral) and he's been super to work with for my 2020 custom order Cayenne Turbo. And Porsche North Houston has a great reputation from many on this forum. For example https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...h-houston.html

Hello Leon,

We special-ordered our 2019 Turbo from Park Place Dallas, and were the second delivery in D/FW. Our SA and the whole management team treated us very well as first-time Porsche buyers. We had no previous relationship with the dealer.

PM me if you'd like his contact information.

Avoid Austin if you’re looking for a discount.

I'm using Austin, and yeah, they are very stingy on discounts, the only reason I accepted the 5% off on my E Hybrid build was because of the $6700 in tax credits. That said, E Hybrid allocations were really hard to come by, and I live in ATX so it is just easier to deal local.

Did the dealer actually put something in writing for the discount? Or was this a verbal conversation ? Theres no paperwork at time of deposit for allocation. Just curious

I've gotten people 10-10.5% off 2021 and 2020 Turbo orders from a SA in the South. Was also able to secure 8-8.5% for people on 2020 Hybrids, though all allocations have locked at this point. If anyone's interested in that kind of a discount, I'd have to check with her to make sure her GM will still do it, but email me directly: samsiminou@gmail.com. I've helped about 20+ people here on RL order/take delivery with some very good discounts.

Hi SSIMINOU

Saw your comment #14 back in July 6th about discounts on Porsche's that you have seen.

I had a 964 I recently sold and now want to replace it with a 2021 911 4S if I can work out
the discount and allocation. Right now my best efforts are getting me a 6.5% deal with a late
Spring-Summer delivery date. The discount was a real pain to get and the allocation seems
a bit questionable as to exact date.

Anyway, don't mean to bother you if these discount questions are getting to you these days.I wish
I had cheaper less addictive hobbies but I don't.

If you have some thoughts appreciate it..

Be safe....Thanks....
