Default Aftermarket Exhaust options

Coming from an 2011 958S with Remus exhaust to my new Base Cayenne, I was looking into changing my stock exhaust to something similar, unfortunately nothing yet from Remus. Any ideas??

Your 2011 CS was naturally aspirated, so aftermarket exhausts can sound more improved over stock. With many new Porsches with turbos etc, its not as easy. It can be done and of course exhaust sound is very subjective. Look to the Panamera forum and on the 958 forum for the aftermarket vendors. They will def make a 9Y0 version.

Thanks for your insightful reply. It never dawned on me that turbo powerplants won't sound as good as n/a even with aftermarket exhausts

Yep, OC is right on the money. A turbo (in this case, two of them) sits immediately downstream of the exhaust manifold and acts as a muffler.

If you search for “open exhaust Porsche turbo” on YouTube you’ll see a number of videos with cars that are comparatively tame and quiet relative to the same exhaust setup with a NA engine.
