Picked up the 23' GTS Coupe Wednesday. Had the Turbo GT wheels mounted for pickup. Re-picked up today after Opticoat. Absolutely love it. The truffle/cohiba interior is hard to photograph but it's rich and stunning.
in the shade - post ceramic coating day of pickup - pre ceramic in the rain garage - shaded garage with a little more light garage with a little more light dash photo - interior is stunning - the brown is hard to photograph
Looks incredible dude! I have a piece of advice for you for your garage….get a liftmaster wall mount opener and it will open you garage up like crazy by allowing you to hug the ceiling with the rails. I did that 6 years ago and would never not have it. Feels completely different.
While I’m telling you how to spend your money, epoxy the floor too. Do the openers first though.

so funny…I was looking into those recently. More so because we have a guest bedroom / bonus room above the garage and I figured it would be much quieter than the chain driven system. You can’t tell by the photo but the ceiling height in there is 14 feet so it’ll really be wide open.
question on the epoxy…I’m in New England so some snow makes its way into the garage in the winter. I’ve got little kids and they move too quickly as most do. Do you think the epoxy would get too slippery in the winter or is there enough granular bits (whatever they are!) mixed in with it to make it safe in that condition?

Epoxy floor paint is designed to be as safe as concrete but you can make it even better, IMO. There is an additive for some products that make them even less slippery. I did a DIY on my vacation home garage floor and added Sharkskin to the Epoxy paint. You can also purchase more fleck material that helps with traction but more importantly gives the floor a “less paint like” appearance. It’s a good idea to add a seal coat and that coat can also have an additive to make it less slick. If you are contracting the job it’s best to have that discussion when getting the bid.
Get someone good to do the epoxy...they'll diamond blade the current concrete, put epoxy and coat it with a full inch of flake (I used the light grey, grey, black, glitter combo and looks fantastic). That way the entire floor is flake and they'll sweep off the excess after it dries. Then they'll scrape it off flat with a scraper, then put a couple coats of clear coat after that. Not an issue with being too slick. I'm in Nebraska so we get plenty of winter. Also, make sure they do the short foundation walls on the side. Kinda looks half *** if you don't do that. Here's a photo I just took of ours...

Very nice job…looks like a lot like a Granite slab. It can’t really be that clean…can it?

oooh. Now I’ll be on the hunt for a contractor that knows this stuff!
