Never heard about the windshield coating etc? Could you elaborate on what that is, does? Thanks!

Clearplex is a film specifically made for windshields. It absorbs all the debris that would otherwise create the speckles/stars/chips that you see over time on the windshield. Porsche windshields along with many others are soft and over time look terrible especially when the sun is right in your face, the stars magnify the glare. I have had this installed on my GT3, 720s, GT2RS and now the Cayenne S. It costs $750-1100 to install depending upon the installer. It is easily removed and replaced. Way easier than a windshield, which I think is never as good as the factory install. It is always best to do this when the windshield doesn't have any stars/chips because the film will accentuate them. Yes, you can still install it but going in do realize that some of the existing dings are going to be more visible. I think all of us get seriously disappointed when you get that first chip in your otherwise perfect windshield. This avoids that scenario entirely. I for one will always install it on my cars.

Congrats on the cayenne! Did you do the ppf on the whole car or just the front end? How much did the PPF and ceramic cost?

White Tiger. Very nice. I see they put the front license plate on your car like they did mine. Love the 22" rims, and red interior.

Thanks everyone on the congratulations. Love this car!

Highlights:
1) great handling - the large tires 285 fronts and 315 rears are great in combination with PASM on the S
2) quiet riding - much quieter than the GLC43 AMG, no annoying exhaust sounds
3) strong smooth acceleration - the 434 hp and 406 foot lbs torque pulls beautifully, easy passing
4) great braking - very responsive, not too grabby
5) PCM - great voice controls, love the satellite maps, direction and voice annunciations are excellent - especially the reading of text and emails to you
