Discount on 2019 Cayenne
I am looking to order a 2019 Cayenne turbo, build price is slightly more than $150,000.00
I was looking to get a 5% discount on base vehicle and 10% discount on options.
Is this fair?
Any other suggestions?

Unfortunately that seems to be highly unlikely. Since it is new vehicle, demand is high and supply is low. I'm working with a large NE dealership, and dealers in FL and CA are trying to buy their allocations. You might get a few percent off, particularly if you are a repeat customer, but it will be a while before there are significant discounts. You can always ask - all they can say is no.

My understanding is that Turbo allocations are rare. There's little incentive for a dealer to concede anything. In our case, the dealer who offered the discount is a smaller family-owned shop that rarely sells Cayenne Turbos, even though they get allocations for them. So the SA and sales manager both said they'd give up a little to get the sale, knowing that a big commission based on a small discount is still better than no commission based on zero discount.

I was offered $8,500 off a $160k Cayenne Turbo build. I didn't ask, he offered, probably because I bought a 911 from them earlier this year.

You guys getting 5 & 7% discounts off your orders, was that on a car you built and ordered or a car off the lot in inventory. I've been shopping around for my parents lookiing at minimally optioned base cars already exisiting in inventory and can't get more than $500 off MSRP. Also are your discounts coming from dealerships you've had a longer history?

Mine is a new custom order with a new dealer. It’s also for a hybrid. I’ve heard there’ll be delays, so I’m also hoping that Porsche corporate does what they did with Panamera Hybrid customers awaiting CARB certification: free three year maintenance and an additional $2500 off. I’d also be doing PEC delivery. My car would probably arrive in June/July (originally told April/May).
I don’t know what area you’re in but PM me and I can refer you.

I managed to get 5% off a 90k base cayenne. I tried about 5 dealers. 2 were at MSRP. The rest offered 3, 4 and 5. I also have a trade in that complicated matters. The 5% dealer was the top guy for trade in price as well. This is in NJ for a custom build. I have never bought from this dealer before. In fact this will be my first Porsche

I ended getting a 7% discount off MSRP on 2019 Cayenne turbo build. I wrote up my own build sheet with codes and prices and then put 7% discount at bottom before sales taxes. Salesman agreed to price. No history with dealership and this is my first Porsche. Put a deposit down and car should be delivered end of January. Excellent experience with salesman.
