Hello,

Yup that was the first shock I got from my 2019 Cayenne Base when I tried to shove off some snow from it, I tried to lift the rear wiper and the cover literally fell off, I have to warn my wife everything she takes it for washing . I confirmed with few folks in Europe they also have the same issue with the cover, going to talk to the service guys soon about it.

Do you have to remove it everytime you take it for a wash, I hope not!!

No. It is installed improperly at port. Read specific instructions above to reinstall it correctly. Anyone can do this in less than a minute. After it's on there right, it is a permanent install (within reason). Certainly car wash-proof, anyway.

The covers are incorrectly installed at port of entry or at dealer. Install the cover as stated several times in this thread and all is good.

Mine fell off a week after i picked it up going through the car wash. I did get new one through the dealer and they said they never heard of the issue and were hesitant to give me a new one for free. It's $10 part here in Canada. I always tie mine down now when I go through a car wash and sometimes it still is half off and only stays the because its tied down. I can't believe I have to do this. Still cant seem to find the right way to install it properly.

You guys can’t get any relief from my instructions above? Had our Turbo over seven months with no issue since I reinstalled it the right way. It’s on there like it was glued. Every week I detail the car, and that involves manually lifting the blade by its cover to wipe the glass underneath.

PM me if you’d like detailed help. It’s totally fixable.

Well mine flew of as i crossed a bridge commuting to work. I did't read anywhere in the manual saying, "don't cross bridges in windy conditions as your wiper cover might fall off" :-)

Can you explain specifically how the proper way to install it is please?

Yes. From "Undercover Turbo snuck in":
https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...-snuck-in.html

Don't forget to remove your wiper arm cover and reattach it properly by snapping on the end guide to the right first, then rotating it down to the left until it clicks on. Ours was sort of laying on there, just like nearly all the other Cayennes and Panameras at our dealer. How hard is it to ensure this happens at the factory, Porsche?

If you do this properly, the wiper arm is firmly attached, and will not fly off while driving down the road, going through a car wash, etc.

Don't mean to flame anyone but it seems they are not following your advise or are not reading your directions. Very millenial like. Sorry for the rant but its been happening on this forum a lot lately. Porsche owners should know better.
