Do any of you guys have any information on when or if Porsche will add any additional colors?

PSCB are really impressive. I had the opportunity to drive them and it’s extremely impressive.

About six weeks ago when I first worked with my SA on my 2019 Cayenne build his training materials indicated the present colors on the public configurator plus Carmine Red and Purpleite (sp.). Sounds like GTS colors.

Glad to hear that. My SA at his Cayenne training in New Mexico thought PSCB were grabby but would settle down after their 1000 mile break in. He also said that they drove the cars hard for several days and saw no brake dust. That's good. Can't wait to put them on my 991.1.

My SA was also impressed with the PSCB. He said that they were rallying down a mountain road and could not get them to fade.

He also said that you can't see the HUD with polarized sunglasses and that the Turbo has a heated steering wheel as standard even though it is not mentioned anywhere.

Even though I like my HUD in my BMW, I'm going to pass on that option as well as ACC.

Purpurite isn't a GTS colour.

As you probably know the public configurator warns us that HUD may not be effective with polarized glasses.
The public configurator describes ACC as both a distance control cruise control and Porsche Active Safe. My SA was told in NM that a new camera based PAS is now standard on all models and that the cruise control feature is being integrated with an innodrive type system like the Panamera.

I love the technology in the PSCB. When we were debating between S and Turbo, the S build included PSCB. Glad to read good comments on them. I know brake jobs will probably cost the same as a new Kia Rio, though.

Regarding the HUD, I mentioned my DD Chevy SS 6MT has that technology in full color, including shift points, redline, temperature, speedo and even radio station info. It’s neat, but for us not worth $1700. We’re skipping it. (It was standard on the Chevy, along with about $20K in technology and options that Porsche charges extra for. Go figure. I’m not complaining. But the Germans have a different worldview, that’s for sure — they dictate their own market and pricing.)

The current color choices aren't that great, IMO.

We made a deposit on a S allocation for delivery sometime in early 19. However if Porsche doesn't add some better colors I think we will pass.

It’s odd they offer PTS on the Macan but not the Cayenne.

Not really. Macans don't go through Slovakia. There is secret PTS for the Cayenne.

Just ordered a Cayenne (base) today which will be my wife's.

After some consideration and multiple changes, went with the Premium Package, leather, 21" wheels, PASM (don't ask me why.....), Sport seats.
Probably forgetting a couple items.....

I was, and still am torn on the insulated windows.....right now they are not on the build sheet. No brake upgrades, no other suspension upgrades. Living in So. California, really wondering
if the insulated windows would help on both heat and noise reduction......this may be the only item that gets added prior to build time.
