My SA was also impressed with the PSCB. He said that they were rallying down a mountain road and could not get them to fade.
He also said that you can't see the HUD with polarized sunglasses and that the Turbo has a heated steering wheel as standard even though it is not mentioned anywhere.
Even though I like my HUD in my BMW, I'm going to pass on that option as well as ACC.

The public configurator describes ACC as both a distance control cruise control and Porsche Active Safe. My SA was told in NM that a new camera based PAS is now standard on all models and that the cruise control feature is being integrated with an innodrive type system like the Panamera.

Regarding the HUD, I mentioned my DD Chevy SS 6MT has that technology in full color, including shift points, redline, temperature, speedo and even radio station info. It’s neat, but for us not worth $1700. We’re skipping it. (It was standard on the Chevy, along with about $20K in technology and options that Porsche charges extra for. Go figure. I’m not complaining. But the Germans have a different worldview, that’s for sure — they dictate their own market and pricing.)

Just ordered a Cayenne (base) today which will be my wife's.
After some consideration and multiple changes, went with the Premium Package, leather, 21" wheels, PASM (don't ask me why.....), Sport seats.
Probably forgetting a couple items.....
I was, and still am torn on the insulated windows.....right now they are not on the build sheet. No brake upgrades, no other suspension upgrades. Living in So. California, really wondering
if the insulated windows would help on both heat and noise reduction......this may be the only item that gets added prior to build time.
