Not sure if the online 'configurator' for the new 2019 S model is complete yet or not, but I noticed a few interesting things at this point...

- no sport exhaust option
- no premium or premium plus packages
- no carbon fiber options
- no embossed headrest or center console lid options

Oh, and the coated brake rotors are a $3490 option...oucha.

Also the Burmester option is $7k....was it that much before?! I don't believe it was.

2015 Burmester was $4,000.00

Default Ordering?

I'm coming off lease in January and considering the Cayenne. Anyone have info on when these can be ordered? I was thinking not until 2018 but with the new configurator up, wondering when these will be rolling out...

The configurator now appears to default to the 3rd gen model, and has increased the number of options shown. Haven't dug into them, but there are now more interior and exterior color options than were there a few days ago.

There appears to be only compass or sport chrono as the upper dash option? No regular clock (which is not necessarily a bad thing given the second hand...)

You'll be delighted to know there is a second hand on the sport-chrono, and it falls off too (I have one in a box that someone gave me after it was replaced under warranty - the second hand had fallen off..) And I've heard of the compass going wonky too.

That might not be the best place to put an instrument...

Heh, you may be right.

I also noticed no night vision assist, at least not as a separately listed item.

In a completely unexpected turn of events ;-), Porsche announced 2019 Cayenne Turbo as well: https://www.autoblog.com/2017/09/12/...und-ab-tile-12

I could see it on the main Porsche site but the configurator would not load, timing out instead - I guess they are updating it right this moment.

Wonder if the second hand will stay on the clock/sport-chrono?
