It looks a lot better than I expect it would. The Lambo orange was nice too but one of my favourite caliper finishes is the satin metallic red on the Audi R8 GT - so cool!

That's some fine work there. Was it painted or powder coated?

thanks! Its powdercoat. while I am no longer really in business, if you want to see some of my work, look in my gallery at www.thepowdercoater.com . Powdercoating was my 2nd full time job after 9/11 when my airline went bankrupt and cut my pay in half. However, we have since recovered and I am now a Captain and doing much better, so I'm only doing my corporate accounts now. Need to keep at it just a little in case another 9/11 happens or if I lose my medical license, but I really like only having 1 full time job now.

How did you prep the calipers? Did you have to strip the paint?

first time, they were black from the factory and brand new, so I just had to clean them. This time I stripped the orange off before recoating. Additionally though, they need to be thoroughly disassembled and then reassembled after coating. But, I've done over 3000 sets of calipers in the last 12 years of doing this, so its no big deal.
