Default 17 GTS oil consumption?

My '17 GTS just gave me a yellow warning about the oil level needing a quart. This at 4274 miles. I know some degree of oil consumption is typical. But what're others seeing for the 440hp 3.6L TT in the GTS?

I have just over 9K miles on the odometer of my MY16 Turbo and I've had to add three quarts of oil since 933 miles. It's certainly typical of high performance engines to burn through a lot of oil during their break in period.

That isn't worrisome usage. The engine is still seating it's rings. Porsche considers a liter/1000 miles as normal.

Is anyone else seeing soot collecting on the rear trim below the exhaust pipes? I know there's always going to be some amount of crud collecting when burning fuels. I'm just wondering what's typical.

I tend to enjoy 'spirited' driving and use the PSE button all the time. Not Sport mode though, as the shift pattern and idle is a bit much for most of my typical terrorizing the local roads.

Yes. I do not have PSE and, regardless of Driving Mode, soot collects (quickly) under both sets of tailpipes along the rear trim.
