Jim,
I'd suggest that you order the senders from TPMS so that you have them on hand. They ship pretty quickly. If Sullivan can program the senders already on your wheels, then return the extras.
Might save yourself a third trip to Sullivan Tire.
Just make sure that the senders are returnable if not mounted...shoot, you wouldn't even need to open the box if the programming worked...

Sullivan Tire presumably programmed them, but the car wasn’t there to make sure they were conversing with each other. Possible the program didn’t take, or they didn’t really program at all. If this rabbit hole goes any deeper, I will follow your advice and get my own TPMS units. If Sullivan can’t get theirs to work, they will have to install the new ones. Hoping I don’t have to pull the rubber off. I went out of my way to install the wheels myself to ensure no mishaps. Thanks, will report back to you.

Well that’s not good, sorry to hear. All above my pay grade, but hopefully it’s simply a matter of reprogramming. If Sullivan Tire hits a wall, I was hoping to pivot and use your TPMS units so please keep us posted.

The good news is that if their TPMS units don’t work, they’re going to buy the units from Porsche and reinstall them on their dime.
will keep you posted.

Best to check from PR codes what TPMS frequency you need for 958.2 2015->.. no need to keep guessing
7K0 Without Tire Pressure Monitoring
7K1 Tire pressure warning light
7K3 TPM Tire Pressure Monitoring 433 MHz (5Q0907275, 5Q0907275B, 9A790727502, PAB907275, 7PP907275D, 7PP907275F)
7K4 TPM Tire Pressure Monitoring 315 MHz (5Q0907275A, 5Q0907275C, 9A790727503, PAB907275A)
7K5 TPM Tire Pressure Monitoring 315 MHz with reduced transmission power
When new sensors are fitted (and system reset in instrument cluster menu, by choosing correct tire size) , they should register after a short drive driving over 25 km/h. No coding needed.
Make sure you have exactly the correct part number!

Grrrr. I wish I had pulled one of the tires off my original wheels and confirmed which senders my '15 has.
Now I'm tempted to do the same thing with one of my RS Spyder wheels as those senders worked flawlessly from the day Sullivan mounted them.
I might go by Sullivan to ask them to take a scan of the 18" wheels as they mounted the senders and tires but did not put them on the car...

Hi All - Anyone know if there are TPMS sensors that will work both on 958.1 and 958.2? I see dual band aftermarket sensors out there but I understand 958.1 and 958.2 are both 433Mhz but with totally different sensors. I am buying new sensors for my 20" RS Spyders and just thinking ahead a little - in case I want to sell them to a 958.2 owner.

Just a quick update on my 2014 GTS. Sullivan Tire spent about 45 minutes programming the new Dill TPMS units, and all is good! They peeled back the tire on one of my 21” wheels to verify the TPMS unit. The TPMS light was off, but as I drove out of the shop the TPMS light came on again. A quick learning session and the pressures were properly displayed within two minutes.
All is good!

I need to drop off a wheel at my local Sullivan to have a new tire mounted (for son's A4, my old autocross sled) and will ask them about programming my TPMS. I'm starting to get tired of the error message in the cluster.

TPMS.com
Feedback from TPMS.com
I added a second set of wheels to our 958.2 and purchased a set from TPMS.com. worked flawless and saved an arm and leg from Porsche.
Delivery was 3 to 4 days via usps priority.

Searching TPMS threads I came across this one. I've got a busted off valve stem and having difficulty getting a tire shop to replace the stem without the sensor. Guy showed me what they wanted to use
for $99 plus mount/balance and it's a non removable stem to the sensor. I can get the mobile tire guys to come and they claim they can fix it for $50 flat but I have no idea what they'll actually come up with when the tech gets there. Porsche charges what, $25 for the stem alone. I'm not sure what to do unless I schedule the mobile and see what comes of it.
