Tried that tonight on my 2011 CTT - no dice. Has hill-hold which works fine, but pressing the pedal for even an extended period doesn't seem to put it into a hold mode.

With a warm engine on the Cayenne hybrid after shutting the ignition off you can push the auto rest climate control button and the heater fans will come on and the coolant from the engine will circulate by an electric pump to use the heat from the shut down engine to keep the cabin warm for a short period of time.

My 2015 S has this same Rest feature. The first car I owned that had it was a 2009 335d. It seems like such a simple thing to build into a car yet hit or miss on if a manufacturer actually does it. Even down here in Houston I will sometimes use this feature.

I was thinking about a month ago how advance my recently new to me 2011 CS was and couldn't believe that the side mirrors didn't fold in automatically. I then looked in the manual and discovered the folding the side mirrors by holding the "Lock" button on the remote and or driver's door for 1 second trick as I have the entry & drive option also. And to think I always give my wife **** about not reading her manual!

I usually find myself stuck somewhere waiting on my wife and/or gets to get out. Which eventually results in me reading the owners manual of the cars we are in. All sorts of tid bits in them but often a number of things that do not apply to the exact cars I own too.
