Can a reverse camera be retrofitted on a 2016 cayenne? Needs to be oem as in UK you lose the extended warranty for non original parts.

Nope in UK everything on car has to be oem otherwise it invalidates whole warranty

I had one added to my 2016 base in Canada. No warranty problem here as the dealer recommended the shop.

Its not OEM, but there is no hard wiring. Just take it off if you have to take it in for service.

The wiring harness on your Cayenne is VIN specific. This means that the harness was built for your car and for the accompanying options. Because of this, it is practically impossible to retrofit an OEM rear camera on your car. Aside from the huge parts cost, required disassembly of the rear hatch roof cover, hacking into the existing harness and subsequent dealer programming, your chances are very slim of having a functional camera at the end of the day. I've looked into doing this mod in detail several years ago, and the cost and time to do so didn't make any sense at all.
