There is a very old post for how to install it not for 2012 model. You might want to contact the parts dealer to find out the instructions. Good luck!

I saw the old post while I was doing my searching but as I have a 2016 this seemed more revelent. Just wondering if anyone has done this install. I could have added it to my order when I ordered the car but I didnt think about it. It looks like if I do the install it would be cheaper with suncoast's kit anyway.

I did this in my 13 CTT this weekend. It didn't take much. You only have to drill holes in the plastic sill trim pieces to run the wires from the lighted stainless sill piece (they pop out separately). You have to cut the connectors on the original pieces and wire them in yourself. I spliced them into a set of wires that run under and along the plastic sills through the front kick panels on the sides and up to the courtesy light there in the footwells in the front. I chose to run each side to the same side light for power. Driver sills to the driver footwell light, and the same just for the passenger side. What's nice is they fade off slowly just like the rest of the interior lights do.

does anyone have a .pdf or any type of installation guide on this?
I pulled apart one of my back rear door sills and went dam... of course this is going to require some special wiring
