I learned today that clear side marker is not available from ECS for the LATEST body style!

Bought the 'kit' from Suncoast and changed mine today using dental floss rather than fishing line. Really easy mod, took maybe 5 minutes per side. Suncoast sends amber bulbs in their 'kit' and I thought I would dislike them, but they don't stand out so I won't bother replacing them with the chromed ambers until these burn out.

Did a little write-up on installing LED's and resistors in the clear side markers...was tired of the orange/amber/yellow hue! Very simple install, 10 minutes and $15 total. Well worth it IMO

I tried both the owner's manual method and the fishing line method. By far, the easiest and quickest method is the fishing line....

Agreed. I swapped my amber signal housing out for the clear set last night. Easy.

I've heard that there are LED units that you can buy but they cause faults and error codes. Has anyone had any luck with installing LED clear side markers?
