Fun with Numbers (2011 Cayenne and Cayenne S Options Broken Down Immensely)

There is a negative situation as well: if you order a package but want the Panorama sunroof you end up paying for the Panorama sunroof but get no credit for the Moonroof that is in the Package. I can't believe that Porsche doesn't simply charge you the upcharge for the Panorama since you have already 'paid' for the Moonroof. I am actually now trying to modify my order to delete the Premium Package and only add on the specific items from the PP that I want in order to not negate the $1290 sunroof cost that I will have paid for in the PP.

Interesting post. I did something similar looking at the CS vs the CTT I ordered - I think it was less than $10K for the turbo engine. The sport package on the CTT includes PDCC, PTV Plus, and the Sport Steering wheel with Paddles for the price of PDCC alone.

I found the difference of CTT and CS around $17,910...
CTT + Premium package Plus = $113,375
CS configured the same = $95,465...
I think average CS with options costs $80-85k.... the base price is really misleading!

from first glace looks like 14k difference taking into account the bose/18 way seats/full leather/premium package/free premium paint/park assist/sport exhaust/pasm/turbo wheels/heated front seats/heated steering/alcantara headliner/aluminum trim. (i know more is standard but need to find my booklet for exacts)
basically... 11k more for CS and like 12-13k more for TT.. makes the TT a true bargain imo against the v8. (solidified my theory they make it easily justifiable to jump to next model, same with options/packages)

The big shock is how little the options are worth at the end. Maybe it's age (mine) but many of the options are lost on me after a few miles.
I had a very lightly optioned 996 C2 -- about the only thing it had was Bose and red seat belts and interior accents. When it was damaged I coughed up for a TT -- in many ways not as much fun -- it's an amazing car - not worth twice the price.
I had a CTT for a few days - the original sticker was in the $130's -- it was nice -- but I would buy any number of cars before I bought a Cayenne for 130k.
