Bought it used. The wheels had terrible curb rush. I decided to have them powder coated gold.

I pick it up tomorrow. I'm still deciding about the window trim. A little gawdy for me but it looked stupid with silver. Maybe I should have done it black? One thing I like: I doubt that there is another like it.

Default Rack

I had the luggage rack, formerly silver, done in the body color, dark blue metallic.

I mean, it’s very Navy if that’s what you’re going for. Which you are right?

I vote a slightly hesitant yes on wheels and rear emblems -- I would redo the side window trim and lower trim to be black (gloss or matte, unsure). The gold there seems a bit odd to me, but what do I know. Opinions are like...

BTW look up this color called “Weissgold” which is a color Porsche is painting its wheels on current cars. It’s not as yellow-y as what you’ve done and if you wanted to redo the wheels and emblems, it might be a nice look.

That's a fair assessment. Thanks. The rear glass had to come out. I'm not in a hurry to do it again.

I like that Porsche wheel color, too.

I'll let it ride awhile. Navy Blue and Gold.

I like the gold wheels with the blue paint - the rest I would probably go black. Doesn’t look bad, just not my cup of tea.

if you keep it gold I would do the exhaust tips as well. Otherwise I would black out the trim with 3M film - relatively cheap - and do the rims in graphite.

The wheels look fine but replace all other gold with black. Usually I wouldn’t recommend black but it will stop any clash with chrome.

You were probably happy yesterday when my Horns slapped around the Wolverines, but then later in the night……
