Looking for a good scan tool for my 958.2. I want to bleed the brakes and cycle the ABS with it. Bonus points if the scan tool is also functional for my 996 Turbo. I'm tired of having 6+ scan tools in my work bench drawer...

How much are you looking to spend?
I own an auto shop and I have gone through so many different ones.....let me know a price point and i can suggest something
I’ve had excellent luck with the autel maki I’m 808bt. Can do everything on the cayenne plus about any other car. Air suspension height modification, tpms, transmission and brakes all covered. They look to be around $500 now however that comes with a subscription for several years which is worth 100-300 a year depending on the cars. Was even able to unlock the wife’s Maserati OBD with it and able to perform all services.
Just bought this a few weeks ago, does everything you'll need except for a few PIWIS only functions, you can even code. Comes with a 2 year subscription.
Schr1, do all the Autel's come with a subscription? Are they not functional without it? How much does the subscription cost?
07silverturbo, maybe $5-700?
when you buy it new it comes with 1 or 2 or 5 years baked in. I bought mine on Amazon. After that 125$ a year for all features. You can service almost any car with it. Mine came with abi,it’s to code tpms and had a couple sensors included to practice with too.
Looks like this one has 1 year built in. Once it expires it all works just no new software updates. The recent update let me adjust air suspension and a few other diagnostic tools that I liked. More important on newer vehicles but ymmv.
