I purchased a 2016 Cayenne S at an auction that has no keys. The porsche dealership told me that I will need to buy a module and keys which will total $4k to get keys for this porsche. Is this true, or is there another option? Please help.
Where are you located? Maybe try another deal??? I had a buddy who destroyed his only key to his merc and the dealer got him a new key for a few hundred bucks.

From your description, it sounds like you have two issues, a bad module and no key. It seems that if the module was good, you should be able to purchase a key fob as I describe in my linked post.
