Default Left Clueless with fault code

Hello everyone,

we’re left clueless. About two weeks ago I started my 2015 Cayenne S E-hybrid 958.2 and it gave the error that the oil level was to high. Went to my garage to get some oil sucked out of the engine (about 1L). The oil was a little thin but no signs of water.

after this and later that day I started the car again and it gave a red oil level to low warning, filled it up with oil again and it was gone. While driving home it gave me a yellow oil level to low warning and (from my own OBD-2 scanner) code P0018 with a check engine light.

I keep adding oil (Castrol which can be just on the car) and its still giving me the sometimes red and sometimes yellow oil light and sometimes both in one trip with the check engine light.

The engine runs fine, no misfires and smooth in idle and driving.

Can someone help me?

P0018 is a correlation code related to the Crankshaft position in relation to the Camshaft position. That basically means they are not in time anymore. The issue can DEFINITELY be related to low oil in the engine. An actual low oil level can cause this code even though there isn't an actual correlation issue between the CKP and CMP.
You shouldn't continue driving the car until you have 100% determined where the oil is going. You either have a massive oil leak somewhere or the oil gets burned, mixed with coolant through a failing oil cooler, head gasket etc.
Diagnose this right away,it can't wait!

Thanks for your response.
coolant is nice and pink, engine block and underside is nice and dry, car is not putting out blue smoke or smelling like burning oil. So for us no idication its burning oil of going somewhere else where it isnt suppose to go….

Your car most likely has the Audi 3.0 TFSI engine. That's the Audi supercharged engine. I know it like the back of my pocket. You will have oil and coolant leaks : valve covers, oil filter housing under the supercharger. Oil and coolant leak at the PCV valve under the supercharger in the valley. Coolant leak at the thermostat housing under supercharger, water pump, crossover pipe in front of the engine and coolant pipe going from thermostat to the back of the engine, passenger side under supercharger.
Remove supercharger and address all these issues. Replace PCV,clean intake valves carbon deposits, replace direct injection injectors O-rings. Replace oil filter housing gasket which 100% is leaking, there's no question!

First, I'd suggest getting an actual dipstick to check the oil level. The e-hybirds use Audi 3.0T supercharged engine. Porches decided to save the cost of the dipstick with a plastic cap, I got a universal one for $12 from amazon.
