Default 2011 CS. Strange popping sound from the intake area.

I have this weird very random popping sound that comes from the intake area. I did some research and found the topic about the same sound. It's from 957 CS, but the engine is very similar, so possibly the solution is the same.
That's the topic I found - https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...ird-sound.html

To summarize and save a time for anyone that's care about their time this is a video from the topic above. Again, it's '08 CS engine on the video, but the sound is exactly the same. You can hear the sound at Sec 6-7, 10, 32, and 36.

There was a solution given.

The noise is GONE! Also of note, when the dealer installed the new plugs during the 4/48k service they did not fully torque to specification. Full PIWIS scan shows everything as it should be.. very pleased!

Vac hose under PCV valve is the culprit. $37.. replace both PCV's while you are in there $127 each.. Also make sure your dipstick is seated all of the way too. Quick test.. unplug 1" vacuum line on top of PCV valve.. re-connect. Noise should disappear and then return after 30 seconds or so.
So per his solution the real problem was the vacuum hose. My question is - what exactly is "d/s PCV valve"? Is it like downstream PCV valve (or what d/s stands for)? The only PCV valve membrane I know is on the top of the engine on the driver's side (flying saucer). And what they meant by "removed both PCV units"? There is another "flying saucer" somewhere on this engine? Or they refer as "PCV valve" to something different than this "flyingi saucer"? I'm very confused.

d/s=driver side.
