Default Reprogramming 958.2 key

My .dealer won't or can't reprogram a used key fob as it's locked to the original car it came from. I had lost one of the two fobs for my 2011 958.1 early on in its life.. I bought a replacement and then later sold the car.

A couple yrs after, my wife found the lost fob in one of her jackets. I put it away thinking I might use it one day. I bought a 958.2 TT last month so I thought great, I will have 3 fobs for this.car.

i took the identical looking 958.1 old fob in to the dealer but they said Porsche doesn't allow the reprogramming of any existing fobs and only new ones supplied from the factory. It cost me $450 back in 2012 when I replaced.my lost fob. It costs $1500 now and my old fob is worthless. Even though it looks a lot better than my new one cause it has zero cosmetic wear.

Obviously, the emergency slide in key would need replaced with one cut to match my new car, but if anyone knows a USA shop to re program an identical 958 fob, I'd love to hear about it
