I’m done with the janky UIs and terrible CS of iCarscan/iCarsoft etc.
Anyone using one currently that’s simple and effective and doesn’t say “….oh you want to do that? Extra $50 now please enter your card information.”
Etc, etc, etc…..
Gotta change the oil, and reset the warning.
Open to spending more to get a nicer quality tool, and not a Chinese PIWIS clone, please. I’ll be searching but if there’s a consensus around a certain device feel free to point me in that direction. I seem to have reached a point in researching things online where paid content, paid reviews and the like induce so much frustration that it circumvents my efforts early on and I settle for a half decent solution, rather than a better tool, better customer support, not just cheap and functional. Thanks in advance.

I will look into it for sure.
Borrowed my friend’s iCarsoftv3 POR for this simple job.
Need to get my own.
After I’m done cleaning up all the splashed oil……….

Launch X431V Pro runs around $600 on the zon. The 919 will do the job but doesn't have as many features, uses a cabled connection to the OBD port (vs. BT) & a limited memory. The pro also comes with adapters for virtually any model back to the late 90's, e.g. older Benz and BMW

And the Launch X431V Pro is a fully functional touchscreen tablet computer. It comes pre-loaded with the Chrome browser so you can browse these great Rennlist posts while you’re troubleshooting your vehicles.

Would this Launch Pro do things like help me set up my trailer control module for LEDs? Seems even my dealer and trusted indy both think this isn’t possible or worth their time.
thanks

This is the one I purchased, it's at $709 right now with a $50 coupon, snagged it for $607+tax when they had a special going a few weeks ago:
MR. Kaïzer Söze (don't want to get you mad lol), don't see any reason you couldn't change the bulb setting of the trailer module since you can do so with all of the other lamps.
How to for the side markers here: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...l#post16096232
Cheers !
