Default New to me 958.2

Picked up a well specced, impeccably maintained 958.2 Diesel from California. I drove it home with a buddy 1930 miles to Minnesota this weekend and can't overstate how this car EATS miles. Didn't skip a beat and would do 750 miles without stopping (if we could, that is).

Spec in pictures, but highlights are:
$93k! MSRP
White/beige Air suspension + PASM
Sport Design (GTS) body kit
Pano roof
139,000 Miles
2 owners
All receipts
Unfortunately don't have the original wheels, but this setup is surprisingly tame at 80mph. (Starts to get loud at 90/95).

Can't wait to rack up the miles!

Nice CD, looks good. Any rubbing with those wheels and tires? What size are they? They look a little large in those wheel wells with the suspension in the low setting.

Thanks! 18x8 Heritage 6 with 265/60/18 Wildpeak AT. No rubbing at speed in normal/low. Parking lot maneuvers don't result in rubbing on loading/low, so far.

They've grown on me very quickly. I really enjoy them! Living in a northern state, two sets of wheels and tires is always a "nice to have". I don't imagine I'll get rid of these anytime soon.

It'll soon be on the transporter in Cali. Until he shows up here in Wisconsin, all I have are dealer pics. Pretty psyched. The spec suits me. Premium pkg, 18's. Heat / vent. Small sunroof, Roof Rails, TPMS, 14 Way. That's about it. Love Moonlight Blue w/ Black. I'll be adding a hitch. (I see no reason not to mount the $250 Curt hitch instead of the $1300 Porsche one.) Background: I sold my BMW E39 5 spd wagon this year. Supposed to be the "best car in the world" according to Clarkson. Well, it's pretty stellar when everything is working, which isn't all that often. No more Siemens EMS for me. I spread my daily miles pretty evenly between my R1200RT (which actually IS the best bike in the world) and my 996 C2. Now I'll be back to 3 in rotation, but the Cayenne will get the majority of the miles. I'm also into dual sport and adventure bikes, so hence the towing. Plus some mid-sized camper hauling. Like I said, psyched.

Love the entire journey of this, I have a base 958.2 and put 25k miles on the first year. Enjoy it and put a ton of miles on that thing!

Nice looking peppa!

Some food for thought...you can find an OEM Audi Q7 hitch on ebay for under $500...just be careful that it is OEM and that it is from the 2011-2016 years Q7.

I think I paid $300 for mine.

Thanks. Do you feel the OEM hitch is better? I'd be interested in details. (I'm a mech. engr.)
