Yes, I’ve done the search, and found all the old threads, but checking in to see if there is any news on replacement / close enough second hands. I pulled the clock out of my new to me ‘14 CD tonight, but the second hand was curled up in a ball in the bottom. So brittle it dissolved when touched. Minor issue, but bothersome to stare at an empty second hand every day.

If not, I guess I’ll be searching for a lower mileage clock with an intact second hand.

Any new news on this issue?

Been there! Based on your search results, i went ahead and compiled the solutions into a separate "DIY" thread (along with links to the original threads from which they were derived).
