Going to a Drive in Theater this weekend, and they mentioned that all lights must be off when in Park. Can anyone please help me on how I can turn all the lights off when parked in ACC mode, as I still need to keep the radio running. Mine's a 2016 Cayenne Base.

@cayennepeppa Maybe pull the two fuses for the headlights. I don't see fuses for running lights listed separately.

I think...do the DRL's come on when you first put the car on, but not start it? I'd have to try this, but what happens if you get out, lock the car, unlock, get in and turn key to accessory? Do the DRL's come on?

Just tried pulling out the fuses for headlights, and that turns off the headlights but the DRL's still stay on. Not sure which fuse these are connected to. Any input appreciated.

Yes they do. Even without turning car on, just putting it in Acc turns the DRL's on.

For the earlier Cayenne, the 958.1, they can be turned off:
Vehicle Information screen > Settings > Light & Visibility > Exterior lights > Daytime light

I tried this when I slept in my car with it running once. Lights remained on. I felt bad but was annoyed and ready to sleep, my tent had 4" of water in it so that was no longer an option.

My response was to quote a movie “but did you die?!?”

This past winter a couple were found dead in a house that had a generator running outside near the window which was closed and the generator had run out of gas. Carbon monoxide can sneak in very easily. Probably best to not sleep in a car with the motor running with or without windows open. I just got a portable generator since losing power and having my office flood because sump pumps need electricity and I bought two CO monitors for my bedroom and living room in case I have to use the generator which is about 20 feet from the house and probably now that I have it will never have to use it! In hindsight perhaps I would have been better with a bilge pump and battery. We lost electric for 18 hours and had 3 inches of rain. Now in Ca. sometimes PG&E turns off the power to reduce wild fire danger. The generator is small and portable but will run the fridge. In general it seems there are so many things that we either can't control or are difficult to control on our Cayennes.
