I've searched this and other forums, but couldn't find the information that would help me remove the slip ring for repair outlined below. Don't want to break any tabs, but I didn't get past the removal of the steering wheel.
Thanks.

Maybe check 911 thread of same year: 991 and 992?
Hopefully a step by step tutorial is available.
Google and youtube search.
Hopefully your search will educate you enough to tackle the Cayenne steering wheel/clock spring.
For what its worth, I have never heard of a RennLister fixing a part on the Cayenne steering wheel.
Good luck.

I thought I took pics when I replaced mine (not repaired). Regardless, I think there are 1-2? screws once the steering wheel is off. Two plugs at the bottom need to be unplugged.
Here's the clock spring itself, it detaches from the turn signals. https://www.ebay.com/p/12023141834
