Default 2016 GTS Deal - Is it a good one?

Hi all, I've got myself into a situation when I need to have an SUV for a couple of years and am looking for a reasonable deal. I was just poking around and I saw this: https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/2618759 (aka VIN:WP1AD2A26GLA80948 2016 GTS w/24k miles). It seems unreasonably cheap, which makes me wonder what dragons am I missing? It appears to have a CPO and was only held by last buyer for a year, which is why I'm a little suspect. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

I look at prices for GTSs on autotrader from time to time and this price does not look that crazy to me, its just got crazy low miles.

I see it’s already on hold, maybe by you. That’s a good price if all checks out - by the way, I’m almost positive that the CPO coverage will not transfer since it is being sold by a dealer, not an individual.

I called porsche service and asked to check the warranty on "my car", and they confirmed cpo until end of year. Not sure how they figure out there was a dealer transaction in the middle. I also don't understand why a service plan was added end of december according to carfax. And last but not least, the color changed from blue to black according to carfax, but that's an easy oversight I suppose if it's dark blue. There is a 7 day return policy! I might give it a whirl and see what happens.

Oh, I see in the other threads how it might go down with Porsche and CPO. Well, I guess we'll have to see! Either way, I'd do a PPI and try to shake anything loose during my return period.

Best of luck - it’s a good looking GTS for sure.

It could be a steal if you can reasonably be assured all its service was done correctly AND Carvana didn't do any repairs (paint mainly, or wheel refinishing).
That said, do not rely on Silverrock to do ANYTHING past things pep boys can handle. It will be like pulling teeth. They should, after a call or two, agree to let your local P dealer handle any work, but your service writer won't want to deal with it, and if any repairs I couldn't do myself were just seriously insane budget-wise, I'd send the car back.
I watched a nice 911 Turbo for close to a year, being sold and ending back in inventory after a couple of weeks over and over... I should have saved the Vin.
You could get a money pit and very little 'warranty' from silver rock or a gem that needed nothing but a little elbow grease and two air struts lol. (my CTT)
My rule of thumb is it's a market of lemons.

Good advice, thanks. Who is silverrock? Is that Carvana's warranty company? My thought is grab it, PPI, then buy the fidelity warranty for it if it's a keeper. Looking at the car it was Porsche CPO end of 2021, and someone bought it, and kept it for a year. Big question is why... but in today's economy who knows.

It's Carvana's warranty company.

What a spec!! Gorgeous!...

GTS? Awesome
Yachting Wood? Amazing
Cohiba Extended Leather? Wow

THOSE WHEELS - what are they? I have never seen those on a Cayenne before? C4P 21" Sport Classic Wheels (Black) with Wheel Arch Extensions? They seem to have polish in the middle?

Incredible! I want!!

That may be the best looking 958.2 GTS I've seen, and I really like the spec. If you can do a PPI, and it comes out clean, I'd suggest buying it. I would add the 36 months $250 deductible Fidelity Platinum warranty. Cohiba brown (looks like full leather) with yachting wood option....nice.
