Do not let some newb, that just joined, get under your skin. Every one of his 5 posts are about trying to get his fellow members goat.

The Edit Ignore List function in the User Control Panel is way under utilized.

I just did this on a '12 Base today and the amount to flush until clean ATF emerges from the cooler line is the same for a Turbo: it took 14 liters to flush until clean ATF was coming out of the top cooler line: 6 to refill when draining the pan and removing the filter; then 6 to flush from the cooler lines doing 2 interactions of 3 liters each, then one final 2 liter flush from the cooler line with 2L added.

The Base model is way harder to do than the V8s because the engine is shorter and the transmission is further forward as a result, so the front three bolts are tougher to access.

It makes me question the authenticity or validity of customer reviews on the actual websites now. I mean, I guess I didn't fully trust them before vs. for example a more neutral platform like I don't know, Amazon or something. Just pretty terrible that they removed my comment entirely, no?
Came across this thread when searching for anyone else with this issue. Ive left a 2\5 star legitimate review warning of a possible issue on a popular BMW part and it was also removed within a few hours. I dont use them anymore unless its the only option.

Since your post they have kept 3–4 star reviews noting the shortage of fluid, etc.

They'd be better off removing the Review functionality from their website. Removing negative reviews is a bad look.

I'm starting to feel that way as well. If they have good prices and are the only choice, so be it. I'm not against them always and forever, but yeah them removing reviews is a sketchy move as we'd say here in the US.

Maybe. Or just not removing reviews. It's shady. They clearly don't like honesty or transparency and try to use negative reviews to improve themselves as a company. They're sticking their head in the sand singing "la la la we do nothing wrong I can't hear you!" with that kind of behavior.

Just got off chat with them as they never refunded me after a product warranty return. I recommend saving the shipping receipt when returning anything.

Yes, you gotta keep up with that. They shorted me on an return item but I didn't chase it as it was only $7.00.

Ever since then, I make it so professionally packed that when they receive it, it looks like new parts that's over documented. I include all paperwork adn a typed letter detailing everything returned and any notes.

You've got to pack things nice. Not just FCP it's everything.... your package first goes through a full on NFL field tackle. Then gets checked several times on NHL rink, then picked up by the most clumsy worker only to (oops, I dropped this one too) drop your box. Finally, the delivery person practicing for FIFA, kicks it to the door of destination.

So, pack ish as if it's getting dropped from the Grand Canyon, always.
