since the car is under CPO, I’ll have the dealer look at it on the next oil change. Especially since there is no ready solution that we know of.
Please keep us posted.

Cayenne 2019 basic model here:
Just file my second complaint (on NHTSA website) about the same issue this year! Please we need to get more people to sign sign in. Dr. G7 I feel your pain, I'm with you! First reported on JAN 19 2020; traveled SEVERAL times to the dealer until they literally accused me of "bumping my bumper" ha ha ha try charge me 3K on the repair, claiming that the front radar was dead. Decided to change dealer, they where able to calibrate the sensor and it worked, picked up car this Saturday July 17 2021, worked until yesterday July 20 2021, I am getting this car in to Service possibly this Saturday. Please se attached picture for reference.

ACC not Available, Driving permitted, Service necessary

My loaner a few weeks ago which was a 2021 Macan with 500 miles did the same thing, and I wasn't using the system.
I had no idea what it meant. I took a picture to show the SA when I returned.

" Service necessary" And PCNA has told me

PCNA finally told me "we will not be addressing this issue." And for me not to bring my vehicle with this problem to ANY Porsche dealership. Nice.

If you know any US Congressmen Senators (especially if they are running for reelection) now's the time to get our esteemed representatives to represent us.

If only...they are on the payroll. The best thing to do is complain to NHTSA and speak with your wallet. I did something I thought I wouldn't do. Hello Cybertruck! Thanks Porsche.

Even better. I found out the attorneys who handled the VW dieselgate (FYI, plaintiff attorney fees on that case: ~$245 million and ~ $1.24 billion in monetary benefits that Class Members )

"Dear Ms. Elizabeth J. Cabraser Esq.,

Kudos on the sole Lead Counsel and Chair of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the Volkswagen “Clean Diesel” Emissions litigation and a voice of reason in product defect litigation.
Please may I know if the law firm of Lieff Cabraser would be interested in a class action lawsuit against Porsche (another one ) regarding defective Porsche Cayennes, covered by the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act, but the warranty not honored by Porsche NA.

Thank you.

Sincerely, etc. etc.

Only solution:
Please file a complaint with NHTSA. I did. More complaints and NHTSA will respond.
https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem#index

Also, contacting your US Congressman & Senators especially if the are up for reelection and or on the Transportation subcommittee.

So far there are only two complaints on NHTSA, hundreds on Rennlist. Most just live with this error. Why ...on a $150k vehicle.
Has porsche made any attempt to rectify this issue? After the warning, are there fault codes stored on any of the ecu modules?

I used to get this error on my old Golf Mk7R and it was always either caused by leaves or similar stuck to sensor or happened constantly when I used to go over a certain bridge.

I would like to think that Porsche should do the following:
Recalibrate Radar sensor
Upgrade radar sensor firmware
Replace radar sensor

Again this assumes that there is no fault codes present (I say this as I know if certain engine sensors such as MAP sensor or wiring is faulty, you would get same warning, but along with that warning would also be an error code/s)

Been to two Porsche dealerships, at least five visits...each time car at dealership for week or more. Finally Porsche NA emailed me saying they will not revisit this issue. But will give me $5000 as good will. Or buy back at Kelly Blue Book, at a loss of about $15k to me. No, I did not fall off a turnip truck.

I say that take the 5k and consider spending 1-2k on porsche indie/specialist to see if they can fault the issue.

Yes let pretend for a second that your issue is one of a kind but when even a person with a LONER is repotting that we have the problem, that is the elephant in the room.
Dr. G7 I will be dropping off my car very early this Friday morning, and I'm still under warranty. They Initially give me an appointment for SEP 11 hahahahaha, but later on the Service Manager called and move me to Friday 30th.
He already told me the he knows my Cayenne has been seen twice in another dealer, and that the last time they saw my car he looking at the logs there is something regarding a wire or a pin the bought his attention
Time will tell I will keep you updated!
