This is a very interesting article.

While reading it I thought about my own 2017 Cayenne S with 59k miles. I bought it at 58k. Love driving it. Does anyone have a 958.2 with over 130k miles and does it still feel as sharp and tight as a lower mileage 958.2
changing from a 2013 Range Rover evoque, I cant believe how the build quality feels compared to the Range rover. It feels 100% better in a Cayenne. Everything feels high quality and especially the driving experience. My concern is does it change with over 100k miles on it or does it still feel like its a 10k s mile car?

My 2006 Ti-edition CS (955) has 270K and counting. Owned since new, still runs like a top, and was just "inherited" by my 15 year old son (big/safe/Porsche!).
I expect the same longevity out of my 2017 GTS (80K and counting)….

I have 104k on my 14 GTS and it is rock solid - zero major issues and only a very few small warranty claims for non-critical items. Nothing else excites me so this one will be a keeper for a long time.

I hope that they stay just as solid, I just picked up a 2016 base with 93K miles on it

Coming from multiple Mercedes, I find the build quality of Porsche to be lacking for the price range on my 2011 CS. It's a dressed up VW really. The only thing that makes it feel nice is the real leather trim on the dash and door panels, otherwise Mercedes feels much more solid and less random warnings, issues like broken vents and switch gear feels more solid to the touch. I wouldn't touch a Rover with a 10 ft pole. Worst reliability for like over a decade running.

Actually I NEVER had any issues with my 2013 Rover. Nothing ever broke. Only thing had to be replaced in its 104k miles was the gas pump which was covered by warranty at 85k. replaced the Rotors and brakes twice with Ceramic EBC stuff. All that talk about Range Rovers breaking down is all bull****. Change the fluids and your golden.

Before buying my 2011 diesel with 107,000 miles I drove a similar car that only showed 83,000 miles but a little detective work showed it had actually covered 130,000 miles or more. Frankly it hid its true mileage very well driving no differently to the car I bought. The highest mileage diesel I saw advertised when I was looking had covered 176,000 miles although I didn't go to look at that car.
